You have got to make sure that you set up your seat into comfort and effective control. For your best view, adjust all three mirrors. Next, adjust and fit your head restraint and the seat belt. The last one in this step is that you should check the passengers that they’re safely seated. We, it’s the first of all the good driving habits.

Indicating Time

Secondly, it is indicating time. At this point, there’re indications to check. Start with indicating for about five seconds before pulling out from the kerb. Next, indicate in about three seconds before you turn. After that, indicate in about two seconds before you begin to change lanes. Next, indicate before steering off roundabouts (anywhere practical). Then, look in mirror before indicating. After that, look in mirror before putting foot on the brake. The last at this point, indicate before braking.

Looking Around

Thirdly, look around you. Please slow down when you can’t see what’s going on with five cars before you. Slow down at any intersection and find other cars even if you have got right of way. Next, look into intersections though having got right of way. Keeping eyes scanning things all around is the another wisdom at this point. The rest is look over shoulder (headcheck) before you begin to change lanes and also in any other situations that cars could get in your blind area.

No Bending Rules

Fourthly of the good driving habits, please don’t bend the rules. At least four things you need to know. Come at stop signs to a complete stop (no rolling). Make sure that maximum speed is always slightly under the limit of speed. When traffic before you isn’t leaving the intersection, stop for green lights. Unless it’s not safe, stop for amber lights.

Being a Careful Driver

The last one is become a careful driver. Be around three seconds of travel time behind the vehicle immediately before you. As stopping behind a car, leave a space to drive around that if you have got to. You also need to change lanes as little as possible. When you approach green traffic lights, slow down and check to ensure none’s running in a red light. These are all the good driving habits you must know.
