The 2015 World Car: Mercedes-Benz C-Class



Talking about whole 2015 world car, you will not meet any other answers except Mercedes C-Class! Yeah, this auto has been pointed as the car of the year. It means that the automobile has scored a brilliant hat-trick in the same nomination. This is a big wow. Well, check things out why so then!

Various 2015 Car Awards

Held at New York, the 2015 World Car Awards has crowned Mercedes-Benz with three prizes. The awards are given to S-Class Coupe winning the World Luxury Car trophy, the AMG GT bestowed the World Performance Car of the Year, and of course C-Class as the global World Car of the Year. BMW’s i8 has grabbed World Green Car of the Year and the non-German victor is the Citroen C4 Cactus, winning World Car Design of the year.

 

What the Chairman Said

About the overall World Car of the year, Mercedes-Benz’s Chairman, Dr Dieter Zetsche, said that the C-Class has always become a trendsetter in the category of the premium medium-size. He added the winning product has come to the starting line with standards usually available for higher-class autos. It, the Chairman added, embodies what is understood modern automotive deluxe made by Mercedes-Benz to be and also has got all the prerequisites to be a massive success. Hence, he concluded, they are very much glad of winning the 2015 World Car honor.

How German’s Dominates

In recent years, German autos have dominated nominations of World Car of the Year. Nissan Leaf was the only non-German auto winning the title seven years ago. The victor of last year was Audi A3. In 2013 and 2009, VW Golf was crowned, Up! grabbing the trophy in 2012, while in 2010 the Polo was the crowned car. Accordingly, German Automotive is still leading after its products have dominated the awards with the recent proof that Mercedes C-Class has won the 2015 World Car.


 




 2015 World Car C-Class’ Mercedes has been crowned the 2015 World Car with two other Mercedes Autos also winning diverse awards.
